Detailed itinerary
- 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Namaste and welcome to Nepal! As your plane descends into the Kathmandu Valley, the golden rooftops of temples and the hum of prayer wheels greet you. You will be transferred to your hotel, where the evening is yours to rest or wander the vibrant streets of Thamel.
- 2
Drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu
The road west carries you through rolling hills, emerald terraces, and rushing rivers until you arrive in Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurnas. The tranquil Phewa Lake mirrors Machhapuchhre’s (Fishtail) reflection as boats glide across its surface. You can enjoy the nightlife of Pokhara in the lakeside area.
- 3
Trek to Pitam Deurali after a short drive to Kande
After a short drive to Kande, your trek begins along stone steps and lush forest trails. The walk is steady, filled with birdsong and village life, leading you to Pitam Deurali, where hills stretch wide and the horizon whispers of peaks yet to come. Pitam Deurali welcomes you with a smiling face of the Villagers.
- 4
Ascend to Low Camp from Pritam Deurali
Today, the trail winds deeper into rhododendron and oak forests, where clouds dance between the trees. The cold wind caresses your skin, making you feel blessed. As you climb higher, the first glimpses of Machhapuchhre’s silver peak appear, blessing the journey.
- 5
Moving towards the High Camp from Low Camp
Leaving the forest behind, the path rises to alpine ridges where yaks graze and the world feels wide open. The scenic views from High Camp offer a magical setting: endless skies above and Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre rising so close you feel their presence.
- 6
Trek to Upper Viewpoint / Base Camp and Return to Low Camp
This is the crown of your journey. In the early morning, you ascend to Upper Viewpoint, where the Annapurna range unfolds in jaw-dropping clarity, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna I glowing in the morning light. For those with strength, continuing to Mardi Himal Base Camp is an unforgettable reward. Later, you descend to Low Camp, carrying mountain glory in your heart.
- 7
Descend to Siding through Low Camp and Drive to Pokhara
The trail descends into peaceful valleys, leaving the ridges and alpine meadows behind. At Siding, a waiting vehicle takes you back to Pokhara, where lakeside cafés and the calm of Phewa Lake invite you to relax after the mountain adventure.
- 8
Drive Back to Capital City ( Kathmandu )
Retracing your journey, you return to the capital, enjoying the scenic view of Greenery Nepal. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner, sharing laughter and memories of the Mardi Himal trails.
- 9
