Detailed itinerary

  1. 1

    Arrival in Kathmandu

Namaste and welcome to the Himalayan kingdom! As your plane descends into Kathmandu Valley, temple rooftops shimmer beneath prayer flags and the city hums with devotion. You’ll be warmly received at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The evening is yours to wander through vibrant Thamel, taste Nepali cuisine, or simply rest while the city whispers of journeys ahead.

  2. 2

Fly to Pokhara, Drive and trek to Chhomrong

The adventure begins with a scenic short flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu in the morning. Drive to Pokhara; rearrange your trek bags, drop luggages in Hotel and final departure for trek. A short but picturesque drive leads to Jhinu, a village famed for its hot springs. From here, your trek begins ascending stone steps, crossing suspension bridges, and weaving through terraced fields alive with village life. The trail leads to Chhomrong, the last permanent settlement before the sacred Annapurna Sanctuary. The village opens wide to incredible views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre, glowing at sunset.

  3. 3

    Ascending towards Dovan

Today’s trail descends through forests before climbing again past rivers and ridges. You cross bridges draped in prayer flags, walk beneath cliffs dripping with waterfalls, and slowly leave the farmlands behind. Bamboo groves and oak trees line the way as you arrive at Dovan, a quiet village nestled deep in the valley. The air is cooler, the nights quieter, your first true taste of the wilderness.

  4. 4

    Trek to Deurali

As the forest thins, the trail reveals dramatic mountain scenery. Towering cliffs rise on both sides, and the Modi Khola River rushes below. The sound of waterfalls echoes through the gorge, and prayer flags mark the path upward. By late afternoon, you arrive at Deurali, a settlement framed by sheer rock walls and snowy ridges. The landscape feels raw and wild, as though you’ve stepped into the very heart of the Himalayas.

  5. 5

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp

This is the day your soul has been waiting for. The climb to Machhapuchhre Base Camp offers awe-inspiring views of the sacred Fishtail Peak, rising like a guardian of the sanctuary. From here, the valley widens into the Annapurna Sanctuary, a natural amphitheater encircled by snowy giants. Reaching Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m), you stand surrounded by Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Gangapurna. At sunset, the peaks glow in shades of fire and rose; at night, stars scatter across the sky like Himalayan jewels.

  6. 6

Journey Through the Forest to Bambo

With the mountains’ embrace still fresh in your heart, you descend from the sanctuary. The air grows warmer and richer with oxygen, and green forests return to your path. The trail retraces through Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Deurali, carrying you down to the bamboo groves where you’ll rest in the calm of nature.

  7. 7

Descent to Jhinu Danda and Drive to Pokhara

A shorter trek today leads you to Jhinu Danda, home to the famous hot springs by the Modi Khola River. Soak your weary legs in warm waters while gazing at the forested slopes, nature’s own healing spa. From Jhinu, a vehicle takes you back to Pokhara, where the peaceful lakeside welcomes you once more. Stroll along Phewa Lake or enjoy a celebratory dinner overlooking the water.

  8. 8

    Fly to Kathmandu

Explore beauty of Pokhara; visit Fewa Lake, International mountain museum, after noon catch a flight to Kathmandu.

  9. 9

    Final Departure

Your Himalayan story concludes as you are transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport.
