These sacred places give blessings before you step into the Himalayas. In the afternoon, your guide checks your climbing gears, boots, harness, ropes, and crampons, making sure all is in order. In the evening, you are free to relax or shop in Thamel.

  3. 3

An Early Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding

A thrilling flight to Lukla marks the real beginning of your journey. Landing on its short airstrip is an adventure in itself. From Lukla, trek through pine forests and Sherpa villages, crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. In 3–4 hours, you arrive at Phakding, a peaceful riverside village. The sound of rushing water lulls you to sleep.

  4. 4

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar

Today the trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing iconic suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. A steep ascent through pine forests leads you into Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa capital. Colorful shops, bakeries, and the first views of Everest and Ama Dablam make this day unforgettable. Evening brings rest in a cozy lodge.

  5. 5

    Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar

To adapt to the altitude, you spend a day in Namche. Hike to the Everest View Hotel (3,880 m), where Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam shine in the distance. Visit the Sherpa Museum to learn about mountaineering legends and Sherpa traditions. The rest of the day is free for exploring local markets or sipping tea while gazing at snowy peaks.

  6. 6

From Namche Bazar, Ascending towards Tengboche

A scenic trail winds along ridges with constant views of Everest. Descend to the river at Phunki Tenga, then climb steeply through forests of rhododendrons and pines. By afternoon, you reach Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the Khumbu. The monastery is a spiritual gem, with monks chanting prayers against the backdrop of Ama Dablam.

  7. 7

Trekking towards Dingboche from Tengboche via Debuche

Descend to Debuche and cross the Imja Khola river on a suspension bridge. Pass through Pangboche village, known for its monastery and ancient Sherpa culture. The trail then climbs into the open valley of Dingboche, where stone walls protect potato fields from mountain winds. From here, Island Peak and Ama Dablam dominate the skyline.

  8. 8

    Acclimatization in Dingboche

Acclimatization continues with a hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,083 m). From the top, you see Makalu, Cho Oyu, and the entire Imja Valley. The hike strengthens your lungs for higher climbs. In the afternoon, relax in Dingboche, enjoying hearty meals and hot drinks in the thin, crisp air.

  9. 9

After Acclimatization, Moving towards Lobuche Village from Dingboche

The trail climbs gradually past yak pastures and stone memorials to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. This is a sobering yet inspiring walk. The landscape turns barren and rocky as you approach Lobuche, a settlement nestled beneath towering peaks. The night is cold, but excitement builds as you move closer to Base Camp.

  10. 10

Trek to Gorakshep and continue to Everest Base Camp and again Return to Gorakshep

This is a thrilling day ! Trek across rocky moraine trails to Gorakshep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. After a short break, hike to Everest Base Camp, where climbers prepare for the world’s highest mountain. The views of the Khumbu Icefall and surrounding giants are breathtaking. Return to Gorakshep for the night.

  11. 11

Hike to Kala Pathhar and Return to Lobuche

Wake early for a climb to Kala Patthar, one of the best viewpoints of Everest. At sunrise, Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse glow in golden light, an unforgettable moment. Descend back to Gorakshep for breakfast, then trek down to Lobuche village, preparing for the peak climb.

  12. 12

    Ascending to Lobuche Base Camp

Leave the village behind and trek to Lobuche Peak Base Camp, set on rocky moraine with stunning views of Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Cholatse. Tents are pitched, and Sherpas prepare meals. The atmosphere turns to anticipation as climbers get ready for training.

  13. 13

    Camping at Base Camp

Spend the day practicing technical skills. Sherpa guides demonstrate how to use crampons, ice axe, harness, and fixed ropes. You practice ascending and descending on snow slopes, building confidence for the summit. The evening is spent resting in camp beneath starry skies.

  14. 14

Climbing from Base Camp to High Camp

Climb steadily over rocky slopes to High Camp, closer to the summit. The air is thin, and every step feels heavier, but the views grow ever more inspiring. At camp, tents are set up and early dinner is served. Rest and conserve energy for the summit push.

  15. 15

Summit Lobuche Peak and Return to Base Camp

Summit day begins before midnight, under a sky glittering with stars. Headlamps guide your way over rocky ridges and icy slopes. The climb involves steep sections with fixed ropes and crampons, demanding focus and determination. By sunrise, you reach the summit of Lobuche East (6,119 m). From here, Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Pumori, and Cho Oyu rise in grandeur. After celebrations and photos, descend carefully to Base Camp.

  16. 16

  17. 17

From Lobuche Base Camp, Descending to Pangboche

Begin your descent, retracing the trail past Dingboche and Imja Valley. Arrive at Pangboche, where warm hospitality and green landscapes contrast with the icy heights you have just conquered.

  19. 19

Return Back to Lukla from Namche Bazar
