Arrival in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan International Airport
Namaste and welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport , you are greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel in Thamel. The vibrant streets, fluttering prayer flags, and mountain atmosphere prepare you for your Ruby Valley adventure. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with a cultural show and a detailed briefing about the trek.

Scenic Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive north toward the Langtang region. The winding road passes terraced hillsides, rushing rivers, and traditional roadside villages. By evening, you arrive in Syabrubesi , the gateway to both Langtang and Ruby Valley treks, surrounded by lush forests and mountain ridges.

Trek to Gatlang
Your Ruby Valley adventure begins with a gentle climb through rhododendron and oak forests. The trail offers glimpses of Ganesh Himal and Langtang ranges as you ascend toward Gatlang , a beautiful Tamang village known for its traditional architecture, stone houses, and warm hospitality. Prayer flags flutter above ancient mani walls.

Trek from Gatlang to Somdang
Today's trail climbs steadily through alpine forests and yak pastures, revealing spectacular views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung , and Sanjen Himal . You pass through small settlements and reach Somdang , a high-altitude village where traditional Tamang culture thrives amidst stunning mountain vistas.

Moving from Somdang to Tipling via Pangsang Pass
The trail descends through diverse landscapes, from alpine meadows to subtropical forests. You will cross the Pangsang Pass (3,842 m) , offering panoramic views of the Ruby Valley and surrounding peaks. The descent brings you to Tipling , a charming village where Tamang traditions blend beautifully with the natural environment.

Hike from Tipling to Shertung
A moderate day's walk through terraced fields and traditional villages leads you to Shertung . The trail winds past mani walls, chortens, and stone houses, offering insights into the daily lives of local communities. The village sits surrounded by emerald forests with mountain views creating a perfect backdrop.

From Shertung, Descending to Khaniyabas
Today's trek descends through lush forests and agricultural terraces toward the Trishuli River valley. The trail passes through several small villages, showcasing the diversity of local cultures. You arrive at Khaniyabas , a riverside settlement where the sound of flowing water accompanies your rest.

From Khaniyabas, Trek towards Darkha Phedi
The final day of trekking follows riverside trails and crosses suspension bridges over mountain streams. You pass through traditional villages and terraced farmlands before reaching Darkha Phedi , where your trekking adventure concludes amidst peaceful rural landscapes.

Drive from Darkha Phedi to Kathmandu
After breakfast, take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu through winding mountain roads and river valleys. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for rest and relaxation. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner celebrating your Ruby Valley trek experience.
